Long time no see 😊!

You’ve probably noticed that I wasn’t around much this month with new recipes. That’s because I was traveling to my home country, Serbia, to attend a dear friend’s wedding and spend time with family.

I brought my 4-year-old son Andrej with me, while my husband and older girls stayed in the U.S. because of school. I’ll admit, I was dreading traveling solo with a little one, but he was such a trooper! The plane ride went smoothly, and he was excited about the whole adventure.

The wedding was beautiful, and I had the chance to reconnect with old friends. Even Andrej had a blast—he loved the dancing, the food, and being the center of attention (perks of not having his sisters around 😄).

Springtime in Belgrade was just lovely. It's been years since I’ve visited during spring—we usually go in the summer. The city was blooming, the weather was perfect, and the food… oh, the food! As always, it filled my heart and belly.

Now that I'm back and feeling refreshed, I’ve got a new recipe for you that's perfect for spring. It’s light, healthy, and full of fresh flavors—exactly what I crave this time of year.

🍃 Zucchini Noodles with Nut-Free Pesto


These zoodles are a delicious alternative to pasta, tossed in a creamy, nut-free basil pesto and topped with juicy sautéed cherry tomatoes. They’re perfect for lunch or dinner and can be prepared in under 15 minutes.
